In March 2026, Caroline and duo partner George Ireland embark on the exciting journey of releasing a debut duo album, Tea for Two, celebrating unheard 19th century songs by English and Scottish composers from the Musica Britannica collection.
Recognising their unique relationship as a duo – formed on Oxford International Song Festival’s Young Artist Programme – Caroline and George are proud to present this collection of much-loved works by Arthur Sullivan, alongside never before recorded songs by English composers Liza Lehmann, Maude Valérie White and Frederick Cowen and Scottish composers Hamish MacCunn and Alexander MacKenzie. Moreover, there are settings of English, French and German texts, demonstrating the extraordinary flair for European languages during the Victorian period and.
