I’ve been living in Paris since September, but somehow there are only 6 weeks left until I return to Scotland to take part in Albert Herring. And although I’ll be sad to leave this beautiful city, it seems I’ll have lots of musical activities to keep me entertained in the UK!
My next recital will take place on Saturday 21st June in Dundee’s Wighton Centre (http://www.friendsofwighton.com), which houses an incredible collection of 18th and 19th century Scottish music books. I had the pleasure of attending a concert there in January, and I’m honoured to have been asked to perform. I’m planning a programme of show tunes and art song – nothing too heavy for a Saturday morning by the Tay!
Following the summer holidays, I’ll be performing a ‘Friday Lunchtime Recital’ in the Younger Hall. This will feature a more operatic programme, with works by Verdi, Gounod, Mozart – and the occasional arty number. I always feel at home whenever I’m in the Younger Hall; I can’t wait to sing there again!
All details of dates and venues can be found on the Performances page. Please do come along to either recital if you’re in the Fife area!
