My next charity recital is just over a week away! The event is taking place in Holy Trinity Church, St Andrews, at 7PM on Friday 17th January. Accompaniment will be provided by the brilliant Walter Blair, and my programme is as follows:

– My kindly friends…Oh, happy young heart! (The Sorcerer)
– Ma se colpa io non ho…Batti batti o bel Masetto (Don Giovanni)
– Ach, ich Fühl’s (Die Zauberflöte)
– The sun whose rays are all ablaze (The Mikado)
– If somebody there chanced to be (Ruddigore)
– Giunse al fin il momento…Deh vieni, non tardar (Le Nozze di Figaro)
– Tu virginum corona (Exsultate, jubilate)
– The hours creep on apace…A simple sailor lowly born (H.M.S. Pinafore)

The recital is completely FREE to attend; there will be a retiring collection available should you wish to donate. All the money raised will be given to the charities of Holy Trinity Church, and to Enid’s Star Fund (to learn more about this, visit: https://carolinetaylorsoprano.com/2014/01/05/enids-star-fund/)

So, if you’re looking for something to do on a blustery January’s eve in St Andrews – please do come along!
