I would like to thank everyone who made Buxton such an enjoyable experience for me this summer! I can’t wait for next year’s Gilbert and Sullivan Festival in Harrogate – another beautiful town that I’m looking forward to exploring. As long as there’s a good afternoon tea somewhere (with proper clotted cream) I’ll be fine!
There was really nothing like ending a fabulous few weeks with a Gondoliers potluck in the Festival Club, and although a few of my Gianetta lyrics sounded suspiciously like ‘bla, bla, bla’, it was the perfect way to say goodbye to Buxton.
So, thanks to friends, old and new, for a wonderful time – and to all the people who helped to organise each production – and of course the Festival itself!
