“Once again, Caroline Taylor brings a confident stage presence and the voice to match: she seems the perfect fit for the G&S slipper.” (Simon Lamb, Standing Ovation on St Andrews Radio: http://www.facebook.com/StandingOvationSTAR)

The University of St Andrews Gilbert and Sullivan Society hosted a Musical Revue earlier this year, comprising numbers from hits such as West Side Story, Chicago and Oliver, as well as some classic songs from the operetta duo.

It was a great fun evening; I performed as Maria in Tonight (West Side Story), Mabel in When the foeman bares his steel and Poor wand’ring one (Pirates of Penzance) – and a milk seller in Who will buy! (Oliver).

This was a fundraising concert for our trip to the International Gilbert and Sullivan Festival in August 2013, where we’ll be performing the Gondoliers; we managed to raise a fantastic sum and Holy Trinity Church Hall was packed!
